A roughly one-hour beech-forest track in Mount Thomas Forest that links the Wooded Gully Track and Summit Track, usually walked as part of a loop from the Wooded Gully picnic area. It includes one steep 300 m climb after the bridge.
It sits at the easy end and gains roughly 29 m, pitching up to 16 % at its steepest, and takes about 16m to walk.
Dogs are welcome here on the lead. DOC’s own wording: “Dogs on a leash only.”.
